An invigorating atmosphere, a huge party, a real summer evening's fun! This is what the Chico and the Gypsies concert promises. The founder of the legendary Gipsy Kings will come with such world-famous hits as Bamboleo, Djobi, Djobi and Ben Ben Maria. With his band, he evokes a hot atmosphere, with renewed strength and a fresh sound.

Chico Bouchiki comes from a Moroccan-Algerian family and grew up in Provence. He started playing the guitar at the age of 16, soon became friends with the Reyes musician family as a student, and was then influenced by flamenco, gypsy, and Afro-Cuban styles. Together with José Reyes, they founded the Gypsy Kings, where Chico appeared not only as a band founder, but also as a co-author of many hits. In 1992, he became independent and founded his own seven-member band, Chico & The Gypsies. Their music is influenced by rumba, Catalan, flamenco, Latin-pop and rock styles. The band is a committed fighter for freedom and peace, and in 1996 Chico was also chosen as an Honorary Ambassador of UNESCO. His belief is that good music knows no boundaries, that music is a bridge and a bond between people.

They have made and are making joint recordings with many artists all over the world, they are the first French band to receive a platinum record in the US.

Chico and the Gypsies is also the most significant cross-over production at the world level, surpassing even Buena Vista Social Klub. Their most famous song is "Bamboleo", which with its fiery temperament is the greatest gypsy anthem of all time. Their music is permeated by gypsy traditions from Catalonia to the Mediterranean regions of southern France.
